Knot: tying a cord to itself or another.

"Today I caught myself smiling for no reason... then I realized I was thinking about you."

Spending time with Garrett and Brianne makes me think of the quote above. They are smitten and just giddy about each other. Brianne announced that there were only 4 short months left before they would marry. Most brides would say that in a panic. With all that needed to be done they would feel that was a short time. Not Brianne. She said it with dignity and promise. They are happy to be tying the knot. Tight.

Harper....I mean Sandoval!

Ms. Harper...I mean Sandoval has been my friend for as long as I can remember. She moved here somewhere around fifth or sixth grade.  My favorite memories are sleepover marathons, playing on the golf course and learning "We Are The World" in sign language in her moms preschool. I don't remember ever being bored! I do believe my antics got her into a fair bit of trouble. A teacher once put us in opposite corners in the back of the room to limit the disruption! I am sure I just yelled to her from my corner! Kami is at the crossroads of one adventure heading into another. It was fun to spend some time with her and the two girls to mark this moment in time. It is just that, a mark. A place in time she can look back and see where literally everything changed.  I can't wait to see what the future holds for her and her family! Next time...the hubby will join us!

The Lord is generous

In Hebrew, the name Isaiah means- The Lord is generous. Salvation of the Lord. Gods helper.

There is nothing in the world better than to love and be loved. Baby Isaiah is secure. He is welcomed. He is loved beyond measure. He will be carried, hugged, kissed, held and loved by many. This little fella was chosen by God to be raised within one spectacular family. Born as a Christmas blessing into the arms of a family waiting with big hearts and open arms. For me to be in the presence of this brood is inspiring.  At only 11 days old I had the feeling he had been with them always. In God's eye I am sure part of him has been with them always. I have no doubts that their road will be full of abundance in faith, hope, joy and love. It was my honor to spend the afternoon with y'all.
